Information you give us:

• Account: name, email, password (stored only in encrypted form), date of birth, phone number and address, when you register or edit your profile.
• Donations: name, email, mobile number, PAN, Aadhaar (optional), address and message. You can also donate anonymously.
• Google sign-in: your name, email and Google account ID.
• Messages: what you send through the contact form or member chat.

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type and a session cookie that keeps you logged in.

We never receive or store your card, UPI or bank account details. Payments are handled entirely by PhonePe.

• to create and manage your account;
• to process donations and issue receipts;
• to reply to your messages and support requests;
• to send important emails, such as password reset links;
• to keep the website secure and prevent fraud and misuse;
• to keep accounting and tax records required by law;
• to improve our website and our work.

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

By giving us your information, you consent to its use as described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. Some services, such as your account, may then no longer be available.

We share information only when needed to run our services:

• Payment partner – PhonePe (donations);
• Google – if you choose to sign in with Google;
• Service providers – secure hosting (Amazon Web Services), database (MongoDB Atlas), email (Gmail) and spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile);
• Government authorities – only when required by law.

These partners may use your information only to provide their service to us.

We use one essential cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our partners (Google, Cloudflare and the payment pages) may set their own cookies when you use their services.

• the whole website uses secure HTTPS encryption;
• passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form;
• only authorised SDPMSS administrators can access personal data;
• login attempts are limited to block misuse.

No system is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information.

• Account information: until you delete your account.
• Donation and payment records: as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes (generally up to 8 years).
• Messages: as long as needed to respond and keep a record of our communication.

• See and correct your information – from your profile, or by contacting us;
• Delete your account – from your profile page;
• Withdraw consent – by contacting us;
• Raise a complaint – with our Grievance Officer (below).

Our services are meant for adults. Anyone under 18 should use the website only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

If you have any concern about your personal information, please contact our Grievance Officer. We will acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and try to resolve it within 30 days.
